Philip Douglas Taylor (born 13 August 1960) is an English professional darts player, widely recognised as the game's greatest ever player. Nicknamed "The Power", he is the current PDC world champion and has won a record 15 world championships (2 BDO and 13 PDC) as well as more than 150 professional tournaments, over twice as many as anyone else. He has been ranked the world number one in the PDC Order of Merit since June 2008 and has had eight different spells at number one, a record 56 months overall.
